There were many challenges faced by businesses throughout the world in 2020, but those in the hospitality, travel, and tourism industries particularly suffered. Almost two years into the COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses are still navigating how to get operations up and running again. Thanks to the State of Texas’ Texas Travel Industry Recovery Grant, struggling businesses can get back on track.
This program will provide one-time reimbursement grants of up to $20,000 to Texas businesses in the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries that were harshly affected by COVID-19. The Texas Travel Industry Recovery Grant was established by Senate Bill 8 and signed into law by the Governor following the 87th legislature to administer $180 million received from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. This grant is a major incentive for businesses that have struggled to find hope within the last few years.
If your business was in operations before January 20, 2020, and is considered an establishment affected by the pandemic according to the Texas Travel Industry Recovery Grant, visit the Texas Travel Industry Recovery Grant Program website to receive reimbursement for the recovery of your business.
