RELATED SERVICES

Audit Compliance

TABC license/permit holders are required to conduct an annual inspection. The compliance reporting period begins on September 1 and ends on December 1 each year. We help businesses with this process to ensure compliance.

Distance Verification

TABC Code allows local ordinances that prohibit the sale of alcoholic beverages within 300 feet of a public or private school, church and/or public hospital. Cities and counties can also require a 300-foot distance for day-care centers or child-care facilities. We help TABC license applicants verify their distance to these institutions or get them changed.

Dry Overlays

Your establishment might be located in an area that does not permit the sale of alcohol. Even if you are granted a liquor license by the state, local municipalities can prohibit you from selling alcohol in a dry area. You may need our help petitioning the municipality to put a rezoning ordinance on the ballot for the next local election or change the dry designation through zoning.

Noise and Nuisance Violations

If your license was revoked because of numerous complaints about your establishment, you can petition for a hearing in front of the license board to get your liquor license reinstated. LaBarba can also assist with noise code enforcement issues with cities.
